I have a 2006 tacoma access cab and i noticed today that the front spekers arent sounding that great. I was wondering if there are any speakers i could buy that i could hook up to the stock stereo and not have to worry about blowing and still have good sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might as well wait until your ready to tackle the sound system proper.

Considering how little power the stock HU puts out, your factory speakers perform relatively well. Any speakers you get now that perform under the extremely low wattage of the stock HU will most likely not be suitable for serious upgrades in the future. You could get high end speakers now but they'll sound even worse then stock since they won't be properly powered.

Patience is a virtue and in my case it was well worth the wait!

Kicker ds650 speakers sound great off of stock deck power and they're not priced too bad. I think 70-80 bucks
