Even after sitting for a month, a battery that new shouldnt be THAT dead... And those Pros didnt sit on dealership lots for very long if im not mistaken. I'd roll by the dealer and show em the video, let them load test it. Batteries in the past 5-10 years have drastically gotten worse and worse

My car was just sitting for 2 months and 8 days and fired up as if it had only been sitting overnight, but it definitely does not have a shitload of electronics.

I work on fleet vehicles with lightbars, multiple high power 2way radios, camera equipment, laptop chargers, printers, you name it... sometimes they start after sitting for a month, sometimes they nuke a new battery in a matter of weeks. The only thing we could ever draw upon was inferior battery quality.

Check the battery levels. turn your headlights off when starting if the battery is low. Get a trickle charger, which is what a battery tender does. Some battery chargers have a trickle function. If it doesn't don't leave the charger on too long.

Looking at your prior posts, you were going to install a CB radio and tap into other circuits. Did you go ahead? Is so, I'd revisit what you actually tapped into as that might be your source of drain.

Solid chance the battery is now unreliable/toast. Lead acid batteries do not do well with full or near full discharges.

Does your CB radio turn off with the ignition? Looks like it is taking power when the truck is parked. Try disconnecting the CB and see if your problem goes away.

The OEM batteries in these trucks are garbage. Mine died with 5k on the clock. If you send the receipt to Toyota corporate they will reimburse you.

Woah!! . . . "I did install some LED's to replace the factory cabin bulbs but thats it!" You didn't say that at first.

If you in ANY WAY screwed with the stock electrical system, the mystery deepens. That includes LED bulbs!

Do a quick search to hear the heartbreak of LED's.

yeah if anything was changed out it is no longer stock. So switch those back out. Get a new battery to be safe. Stop cowering inside and go drive your truck. You aint getting the virus in your car.

A jump start won’t charge your battery. Mine is pretty new, and my battery has drained also, because of infrequent short trips. Slow drains, and use like I described is not good for your battery, and will kill it. Heat is not good either.

Yeah things are different on these Tacoma's. They have many items that do systems checks, fuel line pressure and leak checks all on there own.. have to keep on tender or drive to charge up.
