I bought in November from a dealer and 06 Tacoma with 78,000 and change. Had a buddy of mine whom is mechanic come look at it and test drove it. We thought that it looked good over all, test driving it looking underneath and checking under the hood. Come to find out, a month or so later I had another mechanic look at it on a lift the frame was not OK. The dealer said it was in Inspectable according to NH state regulations. I then called the state about it, they said they could fine the dealer possibly, I would have to take them to small claims court. I don’t have the energy for that.
The dealer has welded it for free a few times and my local mechanic just found another week spot this morning, that needs welding.
I am open to thoughts or suggestions.

Have you considered rust converter, paint and corrosion prevention such as Fluid Film as well as rinsing the undercarriage after exposure to road salts?

The sad fact is unless a Mechanic is pretty much a Die Hard Toyota person quite possible they are unaware of the frame problems.

Look at the truck see what is normal for that age in NH good to go.

Now if you meant Toyota Dealer no way they did not know.

Used vehicle dealer quite possible they did not know we hear this all the time.
