I have a 2019 Pro shortbed. I am looking at different options for my kayaks, one of which is 18.5 ft Long. I am wondering if anyone with the Hooke roof rack can tell me if kayak saddles can be used with them. I am wondering about the distance from roof to bars or if they are too low profile. I have never posted before so not sure how this works.

I don't have an answer to your question, but here's some threads about transporting kayaks on your 3rd gen. You might also search the 2nd gen section, as their methods would be equally relevant.
