Help quick! Seized caliper?

I am changing out the front pads on my 06 taco and passenger side is quick and easy but driver side I cannot push one piston in to install new pad. Sound like a seized caliper?

Unfortunately it does. Have you tried opening the bleeder to see if that helps? I know you might have to bleed the system afterwards, but thats better than buying a new caliper. I've never had trouble with 1 piston getting stuck. What are you using to compress it? A prybar?

 

i use a big pair of channel lock pliers when changing mine and use the ole pads so not to damage the piston. works for me

 

Well I took the caliper off and used old pad and c-clamp to lusk it back in. Put caliper back on and put new pad in then had someone push pedal and it work how it should. I guess I'll just keep an eye on caliper and hope it doesn't go bad
