Yeah.... same boroscope..... here it the WTF picture
A hole at the problematic area for all 1st generation Tacoma

This is an example of how nobody is exempt even of Rust , not even on a new pristine Frame ... I was shocked by this fact.

IMHO before applying FF and since you said you have no problems getting the equipment and DYI then I would do a different approach....
* all you know rust need 3 things, water, metal and oxygen
* all you know the risk is the Rust inside the frame the invisible one

I saw few years ago an immaculate super clean brand new look frame
on a TRD green excab super low miles 63K sold for 10K with only ONE hole next to spring holder of passenger side... see frame pics on this link

I was shocked to see such new frame with a hole, seller show nice pictures of everything and got sold in 2 days....
but got me thinking ....why for all frames got cavities in the same area.... then....

I got the endoscope and went down yesterday and i FOUND THE reason, .... there is a hard to see interior corner with an interior hole pocket ( not a drain pocket) like small box isolated corner , does not go to the exterior of the frame but is a build space inside the frame, I though my frame was getting a whole to outside but the only flaky spot is in this internal wall of small plate installed inside the frame like [\
.....that unattended little room is the 1st place of breakage for these frames....

no wonder why..... i just noticed by accident.... is a square metal with some angle an a central round hole, kind of reinforcement additional metal section build inside the frame that anyone would miss that, even spraying the hell of the corner with FF, just a minimum with get inside that hard to reach pocket and that is where the rust hole to the exterior and interior will get build up....

Anyway..... I did my 1st attempt of tackling rust back in 2016...
I didn't know much so I missed some spots.... now I know a little better plus the boroscope big help... I will start again my project with before and after pics this coming summer of 2020

I got some ideas to start new DYI project to to handle these secret rusty holes... pockets, with some other ways and some other products before FF, actually I will use different list of products.... coming soon...

check now, I just edit it, the endoscope is wifi box mode HG588 , the user sucks as photographer

yesterday i open up the cavity as much possible then sprayed with the milky product Rust Converter from Eastwood inc, that will leave a phosphate black surface ready to eastwood internal rust inhibitor

April ... great time to do WAX in WAX out... staying home 430 to 630 pm hand eagle one soap car wash , eagle one wax as you dry it, perma seal WAX in wax out , glass cleaned and tire dressing.
