Well the good news is you don’t have to worry about looping it.

Awesome! I watched the clip but I’m thinking that movie is probably a steaming pile.
Every time I look at my Ninja, it reminds me of the ‘80s. It just has that look.

Looking at dual sport. Super Tenere, GS, Africa Twin, or 990 Adventure.

Yeah almost no chance of that. I figure it’ll get better once I start putting my body into it and using the suspension.

Jacket is like four or five years old, it’s an A-stars Scion. D3O ( I think) armor in the shoulders, forearms, and I added a back protector. It has pockets for chest ones, too. I love the thing. I keep looking for a replacement because it’s not so waterproof anymore and haven’t found anything I like better.

Pants are Klim Badlands, hip and knee D3O and kind of a carhart material.

Edit: Damn that jacket is cheap now, like sub $100

I think I have narrowed my jacket search down to 2. Klim Traverse is a gore-tex shell with spots for armor on closeout for $200 or Klim Dakar has spots for armor, isn’t waterproof but is more breathable and has removable sleeves for $250.

Recently my commute changed from 40ish miles a day to around 80. 60 of those are straight freeway riding the other are some canyons which aren’t bad.

I’m currently riding a husky supermoto which isn’t great for that type of commute. So I’ve been looking at other bikes lately. Not to mention I also want to try out some local tracks instead of just canyon riding.

There is a Ducati V2 at my local dealer I’m thinking about.

It’s been many years since I’ve ridden a sport bike. Outside of it being a better track bike are they better for longer rides? I feel like my current bike is near maxed out at 80mph and I’m sitting up like a wind sail.

Keep the Husky or am I better off with the V2. I know Ducati’s might not be the most reliable but if I’m going to get back into sport bikes it’s going to be one of those as I’ve always wanted a single swing arm Ducati.
