Raptor Lights & TRD Pro Grill

So, I bought the pro grill:


But, the two outer lights won’t push in far enough to clip. I see there are a couple of options for placement:


and
I definitely prefer the spread out look.
Anyone run into this? Any insights? Thanks!

 

Search Youtube for Grill Light install on a 3rd gen - watch the Taco Twonz video - they show how to modify the grill to place the lights in the row above or below. FWIW, I didn't want to mod, so I have my 4 next to each other in the middle row.

Sand down the ends of the lights on some 1500 grit sandpaper. Test fit then sand more if needed. It doesn't take much.

Love the red color match to compliment your shackles

 

I had the lights a very short while, but decided it was too busy for me, so I removed them. I tried them in every config I could think of.

 

Install done! Love the TRD PRO grill and lights!! Grill is hard to see as it is 10PM, but the red lettering of the TOYOTA will match my red shackles if my front bumper is ever delivered.

 

Where did you buy the grill? Wonder if I can get lettering in blazing blue pearl for my 2017 OR.

 

Looking good. Definitely like the 4 lights best!
