I bought a 2013 double cab TRD OR. 85k mi. It seems to be a good truck so far. But I am getting a vibe between 25mph and 40mph. It doesn’t change whether I’m in D or 4. Any recommendations on where to start? Newer wheels and tires

I chased vibes for months, Tom woods single piece drive shaft was the answer. Easy to install yourself.

A few more details might help us help you!

    Is the truck lifted?

By “vibes” do you mean driveline vibration or wheel/steering wheel vibration?

There are definite causes for each of these and the guys here on TW can help!

I believe it is leveled, there is a small spacer over the struts. I Hear the vibe more than I feel it but I can feel it some in the pedal

I did notice vibes at higher speeds and the right side rear of the truck shaking a bit, but I had that tire balanced and that particular problem went away. Still left with the smaller vibe at low speeds though

Try putting it in 4HI when you’re cruising at speed. If it goes away, it’s the front diff needle bearing.

if it groans louder turning one way at speed probable wheel bearing.

Imbalanced tires are another common issue.

if it’s none of those three probably the driveshaft, u joint or carrier bearing.

So the other day while driving through town I switched her into 4hi and the Vibe went away. I switch back to 2wd and the vibe didn’t come back. It seems to still be gone. Which is good but I’m not sure what it was exactly

This is just a guess: I would suspect the driver side needle bearing. Maybe it was a little dry and when you put it into 4wd, you stirred up your front diff lube enough to get it to migrate out to the needle bearing a little. This may quiet it a little in the short term. If the noise/vibration comes back, try it again.
You may need to do the ECGS bushing replacement.
