Stumble off idle through 2500k After stereo install

So I put in a kicker hideaway this weekend and as a part of that I had my battery disconnected for a few hours. Went for a drive afterwards and the stereo is great, but I now have a stumble or miss as I’m cruising and just barely give it gas up through 2500-3000 rpm. After 3k it’s better but can still be felt a bit when I give it gas.

I know that disconnecting the battery can cause the transmission to recalibrate a little - could this be the issue? The truck didn’t do this before, and all I did was wire up the hideaway and disconnect the battery.

The truck is a 2017 TRD Sport. It has the latest TSB on the ECU, and like I mentioned did not behave like this before. I checked the VIN and there are no recalls.

    Any ideas?

Forgot to mention that there is no check engine light or other warning lights.

I recently had the battery disconnected in my new-to-me 2009. Afterward I experienced the same issue as you during a short 10 minute drive. Apparently the ECU can forget its engine calibration (that stuff is over my head) - it definitely wasn't the tranny for me as I have MT. So I went for another 30 minute drive and by the end of that, everything was back to normal. Don't know if this applies to 2017.

Huh. I’ll have to take it for a longer drive to see. I didn’t travel more than 10 miles so I didn’t go far.

Stock AF. My 68 Bronco and 2000 2.5RS get the mods.
A lot of cars have to relearn idle parameters and all sorts of crap after battery disconnection. Older Chryslers/dodges/jeeps were horrible for it.

I just completed part of my audio install last night, the battery was off for 3 days (blame the 'rona, i'm not going anywhere) but I need to take a ride today just to get out of the house. Ill let you know what demons I find. I did start the truck and let it idle for like 20 minutes last night while listening to the new speakers so maybe it relearned what it needed to during that time, we'll see. Mine is a manual transmission too.
