Hard to say. The day could be a bit up and down. My wife's mother passed away of a heart attack right in front of her on Easter morning 3 years ago. Been a tough day ever since.

I'm sorry. Her feelings about the day are very valid, understandably.

Not much, cooler and rainy, waiting for snow. Dust cover arrived yesterday, so I'll probably replace that.

Buncha of mouth breathing bigots up here. A couple of my friends were setting their hang gliders up in the parking lot at Wellfleet to fly last weekend (they have RI plates but are all of maybe 40 mins from where they were flying in MA) and some dingleberry in a six-figure Mercedes stopped and told them in not so many words to ‘go the fuck home’ and when they said they lived right next door he said he ‘hoped they crashed in the ocean and died’. People are so god damned ignorant.

People shouldn't assume. This is not the time to turn on each other because of false assumptions. Keep an open mind and let the authorities deal with it.
Harassing each other is not the answer. We're all under a huge amount of stress, but don't make it worse by turning on each other.

That sure is an unfortunate interaction. Not terribly surprised, but certainly disappointed. I hope your friends had a nice flight! It looks like a fun activity

So my wife created a hash tag called #hecantsitstill on her FB page. She always joking and posting pix that I always have to be doing something...wrenching, fixing, building, yard work, etc., etc.

Today I'm proving her wrong. I've been laying on the couch since 9 this morning. Have no plans to move.

Sorry I missed this notification, I've been busy all weekend helping friends who didn't have power. Along with other things. I never ended up losing power at my place thankfully. If we did it was before I got home from work that day.

Beautiful, sunny and warm. A bit white like my truck, but also not entirely. Still like my truck...

Happy easter stockers, snapped a quick shot of my truck hauling one of my bikes yesterday. Cruises down the highway at 80 no problem even with that load in the bed. Finally getting to put those new tiedowns to good use!

Hooray for Spring thunderstorms. Friend in Texas caught golfball sized hail on the windshield and hood, sister in law is under shelter with tornadoes on the ground in Claiborne Parish, I’m under a tornado watch till 8PM.
