Ashtray thing reminded me, another story.

I enlisted in the AF in 1983, my first job was avionics maintenance, the Avionics Maintenance Squadron was broke down into shops for the various systems. Our shop (auto-pilot/instruments) was at the end of the building. I was a young 2 stripe airman only a little over a year in when this happened. On shift avionics supervisor (Senior NCO in charge of all shops for the shift) comes into our shop with aircraft forms with a write-up for "ASH Receiver INOP." Tells us "it has to be yours, I've been to all the other shops." My supervisor tells him our systems don't have anything called that. I look over his shoulder at the forms, and quietly and tactfully say, "uh Sergeants, I think they're talking about one of the ash trays on the flight deck."

I was right, the SNCO let out a "sumbitch" as he turned and walked out of the shop.

You forgot. When you drink, it goes all over. All the way over to the next morning...but it certainly dulls the pain when you decide to do something that your chassis isn’t built for anymore...

 

I couldn't imagine having a hangover again.
I use to put a 2 liter diet Coke in the fridge on days I planned on getting super toasty, the next day I would chug that whole 2 liter in about one minute.

 

Why do you have knee pills?...........
