I know a lot of ppl here do not like bull bars. don't protect, causes more damage than protection, etc...
My truck had one one when i bought it. Wondered about protection....until yesterday.

Had a 30 mph head-on with an armored jeep when he encroached in my lane turning on a county mountain road. The bar took most of the Brut force saving my transmission cooler, a/c evap, and radiator.

    Just saying.

+1 for the bull bar. Glad it took the brunt of the impact.

The look does nothing for me though. Especially when the rust starts.

To each their own.... In any event, I'm glad it saved your truck from some damage.

absolutely no way you went head on at 30mph and that was the only damage.

I agree. And the airbags would've deployed. Maybe a wooden post at 30 MPH, or another vehicle at 5-10 MPH

Looks like that Bullbar is about 6" off the ground, was it a Barbie Jeep?

Looks like the brush guard was custom made out of aluminum foil. P.S. I love the plastic "welds" that hold it together. 30MPH seems like a wee bit of a stretch. It doesn't count if you're backing up when he hits you head on.

Barbie Jeep will still offroad better than Tacoma.
