When my wife and I were first married we lived a 3rd floor apartment. The building was right across from a church, denomination escapes me. Anyhow parking could be difficult and occasionally my wife would ark directly across the street. Anyhow...one day we are leaving and I'm approached by the pastor or whatever, that informed us that was his wife's parking place. I mentioned it's a public street and my wife occasionally parks there when there is nothing on our side. He insists we need to ark around the corner. I said my wife is coming home with a 3 month old, diaper bag, etc.... she'll park where she can. So now we find he car is being parked in. I mean a few inches between bumpers. This goes on a while... Leaving for work one morning, my wife had driven my truck and was parked across the street and yup, right up on the bumper. No problem. Locked in the hubs, 4WD Lo, reverse, moved the car back about six feet. Funny. We were never parked in again. Weird, huh?

I love when people try to claim public parking. I had a neighbor couple years ago that tried that bs with me. Dude was like it's in front of my house so you cant park there. I laughed at him. It's a public street you don't pay for it so it's fair game.

Waiting to see a picture of my DCLB posted here. Still not managing to land it between the lines every time. Might be a year before I attempt parallel parking. Until then I may have to resort to crawling the outer limits of mall lots.

I saw one parked at the bank the other day crooked and partially in a handicap spot. They aren't exempt, they put their pants on one leg at a time just like everyone else.

I hate how some Leo's will speed and ignore traffic laws without their emergency equipment on. As far as I know until they hit the lights and siren they're just another car on the road, and I hate they fact that they can hold me accountable for laws they themselves don't bother to follow.

I should add, I'm not a cop hater by any means, but that's a peeve and it does seem most of the cops around here do that.

    Anyway, here's another asshole:

I'm thinking if he noticed it when he came back to the car, he probably chased himself across the parking lot them tased himself in the back.

Just kidding, I am not anti LEO, but they do take some liberties sometimes. Like the one I saw with take home vehicle, driving with kids in the car, and passing me at 5-10mph over. Yes, I have seen it.

    This is from last fall.
Very busy restaurant in my town.
No parking spots anywhere... except for one where this car was essentially double parked.

I tried first to get in the other way but it wasn’t working. Went around the lot and tried it again from the other direction. There were some techs across the street at a tire shop watching me and applauded when I finished.

Now you just need to convince a smart car to park nose-in in front of them
