Quiet here at home. Dog asleep beside me on the sofa. Sun came out but windy and oak pollen blowng everywhere yey, not. I went out and harvested rain water this morning I think we got around 10 gallons all together it rained alot last night. Christie uses exclusively rain water for her house plants so I help where i can. I hope you are doing fine with all this craziness going on

Quiet here, too. Dogs asleep behind me. Sunny and windy here, too. Got 1.4" of rain last night. Hmmm never thought about using rainwater for the house plants.... what do you store it in? Only working half days now :-( Supposed to be paying bills... can't find my mortgage statement pretty sure I got it....

 

Saving grace for us in all this is the only thing we still owe on is my truck. I got a couple of like 10 gallon jugs from work we store the bulk of the water in then about 5 gallon milk jugs. We set out 3 plastic trays / bowls to collect water when it rains and I position a lawn cart under the edge of the covered part of the porch to collect water. We use a funnel and strainer to catch all the larger stuff , leaf bits, pollen etc. when we pour it into the containers. We have a water softenner on the house which puts a bit of salt in the water so healthier for the plants to use the natural water

So, I have to get a bunch of printing done for submittal, normally I would go into Kinkos, spend 5 mins with the associate and pay then done. It has been 8 hours so far since they contacted me back and still do not have a quote.
FedEx/ Kinkos is fast becoming the United Airlines of the printing business, freaking sad that they are using the virus as just an excuse to force you to do everything online just so they don’t have to have people at the branches. Yet, you can still walk in with a package and they will handle it just like before without any issues, no need to go online to that BS....
