Alright, so a lot of firsts for me here: first Toyota, first pickup, first New vehicle, first (soon to be) modified vehicle, first forum membership, first post. But I couldn't be more excited about any of it.

I just ordered my 20110 TRD Double Cab Taco in White. I am already planning on a number of upgrades. I'm going with King coil overs in the front with Total Chaos upper control arms, along with King shocks in the rear as well. I haven't decided on what method to use to lift the rear yet, but will most likely go with an add-a-leaf. (Opinions welcome).

I'm thinking I want black 18" wheels w/ gnarly looking 32"-33" wheels. The wheel tire combo is what I really need some help with. I've been eyeing the AR Mojave Teflon wheels, and am leaning toward the BFG MT's or Cooper STT's. But am 100% open to any opinions or suggestions from other members.

All in all I am very excited to be a part of the Taco community! Thanks for bearing with my rambling intro, and I look forward to getting to know the rest of the crew!

    Thanks guys!

TAKoma907: are you in Anchorage, or elsewhere? I'd love to hook up w/ some local Taco owners to show me the ropes & some places to go play w/ my new toy.

Hey! Sorry I got this so late. I'm in Seward but I jet up to Anchorage every now and then. I'm new to the whole Tacoma scene too, I just got mine a month ago. If you ever come down this way PM me and we'll do a little meet and greet. It always cool to meet other owners and check out their rides

Thanks for the input guys/& gal! I would love to meet up w/ any of the Alaskan taco owners for a meet & greet if nothing else, and to check out the local rides. For those of you that are in Anchorage or within easy driving distance, I've stumbled upon a great shop that does nothing but build custom kick ass Toyotas. The name of the shop is Green Tree Fabrication. It is a small shop but the guys know their sh*t and specialize in all manner of Toyota magic. They are the ones who will be ordering my Kings and doing all of my work (they have great labor rates too). The owner's name is Dan, ask for him by name and tell him I sent you!
