    You're welcome champ!
I wish a limited line of vehicles had the TEQ or even the Toyota Trucks logo.

    Mostly dust and dirt.
It should be an option on every Toyota vehicle sold in the US.
    Retro sells.

    Agreed
This may be more of a corporate decision than anything.
Why would Toyota make the Toyota Trucks logo and not put it on their trucks is beyond reasoning.

I used to go to that museum several time a year. I worked full time, and now part time for Toyota and I regularly stayed at the Hilton, which is within walking distance. One trip, they had a display room setup to explain all of what Toyota is into in Japan: housing; forestry; dental implants; recycling research; mobility for handicapped in all forms; etc. Toyota designed an air handling system that serves all of the office bldgs (many sq blocks, incl underground malls) there around the Nagoya main train station. Really cool stuff.

There are two other museums you should go to if you haven't already been to them. One is NE of Nagoya. Take the Higshiyama (yellow) subway train until it dead ends. There, you can catch a small mag-lev train that has a stop right across the street.

The other is the kaiken across the street from Toyota headquaters, in Toyota City. It's a smaller version of the one you documented here. You may have already been there because you mentioned a factory tour. They have tours of Motomachi plant that leave form that location.

I will get back on here later today and post some Google Earth images of the location. No time right now.

This is the auto museum that is between Nagoya and Toyota City. I believe it's called the "Toyota" museum because of proximity to Toyota City, as it is not specific to Toyota vehicles.

    https://toyota-automobile-museum.jp/en/

It is easy to get there by train from either Nagoya (Higashiyama Line East to Linimo Line) or Toyota City(Aichi Loop Line North to Linimo Line) . No taxi or bus is needed.

Below, this is about the Toyota Kaikan in Toyota City, just across the street from Toyota Motor Corp headquarters. You can get there from downtown Toyota City by taking Aichi Loop train to the Mikawa Toyota Station (3rd stop), then walking East about 4 blocks or so. I would recommend stopping by the lobby of the Toyota Tech Ctr if weekday. They sometimes have displays in the lobby, free access.

You can see the location, and also the Toyota test track in the image below. The Mikawa Sta is several block West (left side of image):

Most people don't realize Toyota started as a not for profit company. As the story goes, the Toyoda family's home town (now Toyota City) was in a severe economic downturn. The Toyoda family started the loom business as a not for profit to rescue the local economy.

A lot of that altruistic culture still exists within the company, as evident in Japan at least, by the commitment to personal mobility for disabled people.

Hey champ sorry I haven't replied back.
I've been to 3 Toyota Museums plus the Factory tour.
Yup, been to the Toyota Automobile museum very impressive collection of not only Toyota vehicles but also they purchased many vehicles from different auto manufacturers (for research I suppose :notsure:) some of which I'm extremely surprised to see in person. I was blown away by the Toyota 200 GT they had, very similar resemblance to the Lexus LFA next to it.

I've been meaning to make another virtual tour of the Toyota Automobile museum but it takes a bit of time to compile all pictures.
I coudn't take any pictures of the factory tour, Toyota rules but it was quite impressive the amount of vehicles they produce some names I've never heard of.
Very lean plant, very thought of, no wonder why Toyota is one of the leading examples of auto manufacturing. :militarypress:
