    Someone please school me here...
I'm not understanding about replacing my stock front shocks or struts.?.

I have the original 20yr old stock Toyota bilsteins and stock coils on my 2000 Tacoma extra cab v6 4wd. Can i keep the springs and do 4600's? Bilstein says no. Local basic shops only offer kyb. Why do they suggest TQR strut and spring assembly? Do I have to do coilovers? Different sites have different info as well.

I like the stock height and just want a replace the front shocks without downgrading. Any info is greatly appreciated!

I have used the Bilstein 4600 fronts with Moog springs and work out fine, ending up original stock height.

Moog 81104 springs will work with Bilstein 4600s to achieve something factory-like.

I appreciate the advice. I did lots of research. I agree on the above recommendations and l ordered some 4600s and 81104 moog springs. Got the kyb mounting plates as well.
