    Hi everyone, I am new to the forum, and also new to Tacoma pickups. My previous pickup was a GMC Canyon, it had been a pretty good truck, but hit 100,000 miles and I felt it was time to make a change before it began to lose it's value.

    After looking at all of the excellent options out there, I felt that the Tacoma was the best value, both in price and reliability. I did like the Gladiator a lot, but similarly equipped, it was a lot more expensive, plus the Jeep line has had reliability issues in the past, and I didn't want to have to deal with repairs.

    I purchased the 2020 TRD-Off-Road, cement gray, with a few practical accessories. I have put less than 100 miles on it, and haven't had much chance to play with it off-road.

    I'm looking forward to getting to know more my new Taco and more about the Tacomaworld community.

    It is as bad as bikes for emptying out your pockets, so far I have done well, just replaced a tonneau cover that I had on my last truck with a new Extang Exceed, a bed mat, and bed lighting. I am an avid cyclist and wanted a secure place to put my bike when transporting. The only other thing I would like to do short term is replace the stock tires, but I am finding that it is hard to get a decent price selling them as take offs.
