This is a very good idea not so much taste but what is in the scat .

Even the smells between different critters are quite different.

I am guessing grass so any tracks would be hard to find

Is the timing completely random but always real close to the same spot?

A small sign that simply says, please clean up after your dog may do it. Most dog owners are responsible but may get lazy occasionally. I understand your frustrations, while I pick up after my dog (and even others) I walk a lot and encounter rogue dumps. You may be able to copy the footage to another app that allows scrolling. On behalf of a responsible dog owner, sorry.

Obviously completely kidding about the taste but coyote scat looks pretty distinct plus coon and fox are different too. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out what enrolled you in the poop of the month club.

It all depends just what kind of diet most times Coyotes are barely keeping alive.

Then different parts of the country and different seasons changes things as well

It's always in the morning, I feel like either about 6am, or 10am. I work graveyard shift so get home right before that, and wake up a bit after. It's usually in one 2 spots, almost exactly.

I could see if it was once or twice, but this has been probably 50-60 in total. And I appreciate the kind words. I will catch this person, I have faith.

Look forward to how this plays out.

I still think it is running loose !

If on a leash someone else walks the Dog the times it happens or it would be every day unless there is a reason to take a different route .

Are you sure it's not a high school superintendent pooping on your lawn?

They are known to do this kind of shit.

They don’t usually live on roofs, they use them to get to the roof vents and into your attic.

D'oh. there is a vent right there too, but I have not heard them in the attic, yet anyway.

Me too, since anyone walking it could clearly see the camera right there.

You won’t hear them. Put a game camera on your rain gutters downspout. They climb right up and down them with no effort.

It’s usually a small pile of 1/2” diameter pieces. I usually scoop it up and toss it back to their house.

My Yi cameras have the option define the motion capture area. Maybe they are newer.

Right now a lot of you have the free time, the imagination, and the engineering skills. Take full advantage of that and lay siege on your neighborhood dog walkers. Let them know who's fucking boss.
