I'm sure you can do as recommended which is 40-50% coverage for dynamat or Noico. I did 90-95%. Especially if you consecrate on the doors and back wall which will give you the most noise reduction with good coverage.

I finally have the backseat back in and I have to admit that it is noticeably quieter now. Not sure if it was just 1 of the 3 layers or all put together but something helped LOL. Doors closing sound solid like everyone talks about. I did have to trim the MLV out form under the rear plastic bins bc they would not bolt back in place with the 3 layers I had underneath them. Still working on the front kick panel areas so that I can get the door sills popped back into place but for the most part I am done. Also swapped to the Kicker speakers and they do sound better than stock but most anything would compared to stock.

    Nice job! Very thorough.

Question? With your 90-95% coverage, how many rolls of the 32" x 54" dynaliner did you use?

Also, in your last photo, you've covered that back wall cross member; do you think leaving it uncovered would make a big difference? I left mine bare metal, but now I'm questioning whether I should have covered it as well.

I have a doublecab, and am looking at adding the dynaliner over the kilmat that I'm also presently installing.

    Thanks.

I think I used 3 of the dynaliner and didn't add it under the carpet where there was already oem padding. It would get too bulky to attach some of the trim. I did add it to the roof tho.
Leaving the back brace will not make any noticeable difference Imo.

Wow. That looks like a professional job!

I should have taken out the front seats when I started doing mine; I think it may have gone faster.

That area and the doors make the biggest difference imo. Looks good.

    Update:
One area where I should have put down more of the soundproofing layers is directly underneath the front seats, and going as far forward as possible to the firewall.

I have an extra box & roll of the Killamat & DynaLiner, and am considering spending an entire weekend to finish this right.

for someone who has never done it before, how long do you think it would take to remove and reinstall the interior to this level?
