Need some suggestions for the "window pane" for this ATC tower; was thinking either finding an old plastic clear sheet from a picture frame, buy some acrylic sheet or get some dollar store cheap plastic storage bins and cut them up to fit the spaces.



Thoughts?

Also need some refresher on LED's and haven't read up on getting those wired up along with an old lightbar reflector as the radar unit up top. All solar powered.....

 

Long shot here but anyone have a chest freezer they are trying to get rid of?

I'd be willing to pay well for it. Or maybe some of you guys can use your googlefu skills and help me find one that I can get delivered. Since the boys are home we've had a surplus of food for the smallest one. It's taking up too much room in our freezer and we don't want to dump it.

I think Home Depot is still delivering, at least in MA. My parents are having a dryer delivered today. I don’t know if it’s contactless but I’m sure it could be arranged that way.

 

I went to Lowe's last night looking for one because their website said they had one. I got there and the lady laughed at me and said "oh honey we sold all of those weeks ago. We won't see any until the end of May"

I haven't been able to find any more in stock anywhere.

Whew...just played about 20+ pages of catch up. Glad to see that everyone is staying safe and busy.

@crashdb I wind my winch up at Round Elementary in Manassas. It has trees to tie up to and a slight incline for tension.

Been using some of this downtime for maintenance.
Took my sliders and armor off and cleaned up the frame and finally installed my ecgs bushing.
If anyone would like to use the install tools,just let me know.

I am bored out of my mind at work.
No cars coming in to work on, but the company is paying us a guarantee of 70% of our average pay. But to get it, we have to clock in 32 hrs/week. We are already down to having techs work 4 day weeks.

So gotta be here even though there is basically nothing to do. Yesterday we painted 2 of the 3 frame machines.

Tomorrow I'll probably bring my truck down and do my cmc and some touch-up on the sliders
