Not a chance. For my family, I'll save 11.5 cents per 5 quart jug. ;)

Crap i bought the TRD filter last year for the big 40%off sale. i was wondering why i didn't get +25hp ( i must have put in in upside down)

really it was only a few $ more than a normal replacement at the time... so....

Maybe i need to rethink my Amsoil requirements also

The Amazon basic line is inflated due to overall “prime experience”. We aren’t getting off our buffs to drive to the retailer walk all through their store, select and have someone ring us up. We are literally sitting on the couch watching Meat eater and clicking a button. 2 days later (pre pandemic) our oil shows up and Badda bing were done. Amazon knows we will spend a few pennies here and there more for that luxury vs having to go out and get it ourself.

LOL. Won't keep me up at night but I prefer to be informed. I bought a Toyota as I wanted a long term vehicle so want it as reliable as it can be. If I did not care I would have bought another Nissan Titan.

...if it's changed at all. And by the way an impact works great on the drain plug too!

Nothing that requires you to go inside a Wal-Mart can be any good. I'll gladly pay much more if I can avoid that Shithole.

Cheapest term is often used in place of least expensive... that being said, I've used Supertech in all my engines for ~ 30 years without one issue in chainsaws to lawnmowers and yes, our latest 2018 Forester limited.

Many dealers use whatever they can get in bulk, to include toyota dealerships. If folks think that their getting genuine Toyota oil with each change, they may want to check. Same goes with gear oil, brake fluid, etc.

I'd like to agree but it must be on an item by item basis. I've bought plenty of heavy things using Amazon Prime that didn't cost more at Amazon versus other outlets when I did comparison shopping. Who knows?
