Took it in to get an oil change...
An hour and a half later, they couldnt get the filter housing off. Something about pressure... sounds like a bunch of crap.
I just wanted a quick oil change. Is that too much to ask for??

 

Another Covid-19 project complete. ARB awning mounted, now just hoping college football comes as planned.

What do you mean "there will be a failure?"
I'm starting to do this reading and i understand i may not get both batteries to 100% due to some "smart logic" on the alternator. But what will inevitably fail?
Is there an alternative alternator solution?

It definitely swallowed an elk or two. But I exaggerated a bit. I’m 6,600 lbs empty; 6,800 with 33 gallons and recovery gear, no food, water, or peeps. Handles (cornering, braking, etc) very well though

 

This is a "what I can't do on my 3rd gen" post. I have a box full of mods and it is too cold and snowing in SW Ontario!

 

Made my own tailgate panel out of plywood. Going to stain it to make it look better and then put a few coats of butcher block oil to seal it/be able to prep food on it.

 

This! Anyone? Anyone? Bit of a deep cut, I know. But it makes me smile!

 

With the black rack and tan truck color this could pass for an old-fashioned Land Rover!
