My collection of detailing supplies has finally outgrown the cardboard box I’ve been using to store them. I started looking online for storage solutions and found a couple options like so..

Griot's Garage 92205 Car Care Organizer Bag https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DULUN0S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vU2LEb7ZWY5E6

unfortunately, a proper detailing cart is out of the question being that I live in a second story apartment in the city and don’t have a garage.

So what kind of containers/totes/buckets are you all using to keep your supplies in one place?

I’m not so worried about lugging it up and down stairs it’s storing it away that’s going to be a challenge.

I started looking at Milwaukee’s Pack-Out system which I could hide away in a closet along with my other tools and I also like that they’re modular.

I actually keep mine in my kitchen next to my microwave cart. When you live by yourself you can do things like that.

HAHA, I did the same thing when I would be out of town for a few days or if it was really cold out for a few weeks. Whoop for first floor!

Mine sit on a shelf inside the garage. I just grab things as I need them and put back when ready for the next.

The contents goes to the basement during the winter months and the box itself gets stored in the shed . It stays in the driveway near the water spigot spring ,summer and fall . It’s not organized yet because I just put it back outside the other day and the weather has been shitty . I use mostly Chemical Guys products .

Yea I use a shallow tupperware type bin that has a top to keep dust out and when I spill inside I can rinse out. I like to use small cardboard box bottoms to seporate products so if they leek it seeps into the carboard. Haha, learned the hard way. Also I use the buckets with lid to store all my washing stuff, only go in the big bin if I need to. The grit guard in the bucket keeps things dry and clean off the bottom of the bucket.

Good memories of a big cardboard box of detailing supplies, been in your shoes.

Edit: sorry should actually comment on the product you posted... I think that would be a great kit for when you are polishing your car or waxing after a wash, if all your stuff will fit in that little tool box go for it.

    Canada Eh!
I picked up this rolling tool cabinet from my my local HD during a sale. My only gripe, and the downside about mandatory online order is it didn’t click that most product bottles won’t stand upright in the largest drawers. Oh well, might have to get crafty and add some shelving to the sides.

With the help of the auto geek forums and lots of YouTube videos, I’m completely self taught. I’m pretty happy with the results thus far.
