you can take them to the PO or get a scale and put the appropriate postage on it. No point in putting something like that in a box for $$$ when can go for a lot less in an envelope.

If it will wait till morning I can weigh Con's on her scale; we mail everything postage paid for her business and Ms. Susan is spot on about using an envelope... might need to be a 3x5 or 5x7 instead of a plain white USPS one..:thumbsup:

    Night ladies and gents also...:hattip::hattip:

Some good advice here IMO. Which is what you paid for it. Of all the shipping and carrier options USPS is still the best option IME.

    On another note.

The valley and mountains of NC Italy produces many of the finest shotguns in the world. Beretta is on the coast but B. Rizzini F.A.I.R., and more than a few more which I am blessed to own.

Most if not all of them are made by CNC machines over the last few decades but in the final fitting are done on the bench by hand, at least the better ones.

Unfortunately most of those craftsmen no longer exist over just the last month, because the of their age. Experience which comes with time in their craft is now lost. Same with the craftsmen of AyA shotguns in Spain. Many craftsmen have been lost, too many of the best in their trade. Already has shaken up the world in that regard.

Because they are older and are a target vector for a virus that is going around the world and taking out many of the craftsmen that truly know their trade. Going to be a different world on the other side of this IMO. Not to be an alarmist but from what I have seen already that can be also applied to many other vertical markets. Most of us on here are squarely in those sights. The best of the best...

You can not buy experience. At any price. Be safe.

I would agree. Now they have free tracking and insurance is inexpensive.

That's a sad way to end a craft. It's the same for the F1 engines from the Saturn 5 rockets that took men to the moon. They don't have the craftsman like they did back in the day.

I remember growing up hearing the roar as they tested those engines in the hills above our house in Simi Valley, CA.

Lost a skillset where I worked about 15 yrs ago. A great set of managers/engineering and production group that knew how to run the business. They left after the Mother company bought back in to take control. 15 or so yrs later the Mother company has had to sell off many parts of the operation to stay profitable because they lost the skillset (pushed out) that could run the operation at a good profit.
It is not exactly the same situation but when you lose those skilled people it really damages you capabilities.

Good morning all. Another day is upon us. I’m heading into work for a bit before escaping. Again, thank you for all of your kind words. On a positive note, yesterday, we decorated the wife’s car and drove by the wife’s friends house. Their daughter turned 16. Must have been 20-30 cars all beeping and cheering to her.

    Here’s my daughter’s latest artwork:

    BCEAD5CE-AEAA-4D7F-A53F-37346C11C2AB.jpg

We started watching the StarWars movies in order as that’s what she wanted to do on her birthday. Tuesday is her slow day with online college classes so she painted. 8x10 canvas.

A vid shows pulp (?) falling onto a truck windshield. Very strange as the explosion happened like 30 seconds before... that shit was up there...

    Good Morning Folks :)

Chilly again this morning 24 deg.
The nice thing about the colder weather the last few days is, it stopped the grass from growing.
