    Just signed up. Have a 2011 TRD 4x4 w/ about 173K miles on it - bought it new. Love that truck may be letting my son take it back to school in the fall. Want to buy another & considering a used third gen. Have started looking around & am considering 2017's or 2018's (2019 if price is good). Needs to be 4 X 4, heard there may be some issues with some of the third gen vehicles. Any validity or is that just people who have had bad experiences.

    Welcome. I’m new here too and have found TW to be a great source of information and entertainment. It has cost me some money though...things I never knew I’d just have to have. FWIW, I bought a ‘19 in January with 14k miles, and saved $10k off the sticker. Not aware yet of any issues with that year other than a fuel pump recall, but if there are, you’ll find out about them here.
