out of state tacoma

is it very difficult to register an out of state tacoma in california ?? (smog issues ?) this would most likely be a 2nd generation tacoma any input would be helpfull thx

California is a pain in the ass when it comes to cars, guns and much much more.

 

Shouldn't be an issue if it's all stock.

Be prepared to pay!!

 

If you move to CA with it you can register it as normal. It does need to be smog checked but they use the Federal standards.

If you are a CA resident and buy an out of state vehicle when you register you will be charged a "Use Tax" ( which is the same amount as sales tax).
