Don't be mad. It sounds like he's married with one kid. It also sounds like you already make more money than him. And you don't have kids. You are making out much better financially in the long run.

Yea, you're making out much better. He has to support two other people on the same income as you. A one-time $2900 doesn't even put a dent in the difference. Kids are epensive AF. And a non-working spouse just sits at home burning money.

Yup. I got 2200 cuz I got 2 kids, and I'm a broke dick. I'd rather have gotten 0, but make 150k+ a year. I work 10 hours a day, 6 days a week, and don't come even close to that because I suck.

2200 my wife and I weren’t married prior to her filing so she got all of it. I got nothing. Over the income by a long shot.

This is the best answer. I'll share mine if you can find me a babysitter. Kind of hard right now

I thought they extended that and it wouldn’t be taken? I had already paid mine prior to this crap.

No kidding. Not sure when he'll figure out that sitting at home playing video games isn't a reasonable life plan.

I'm supposedly getting $1200. Haven't seen it yet. I hope I do. I am planning on using it towards clutch parts for the Tacoma. URD Clutch/Flywheel kit, Clutch Masters Hydraulic TOB. If I have enough in savings, maybe a TRD short throw shifter.

Same thing here, I havent filed 2019 but paid taxes in 2018, apparently if you paid taxes they dont know where to deposit your money to, which is silly because they debited my savings account for it.

Not far off from that here in Maryland. Even so, it's not that easy to make $100k.

    Many & varied

Same here. I can't get any confirmation on the website. Checking my bank account near-hourly. We should get the full $1200 each plus $500 each for kids. We're hoping to pay off credit debt and move a shed from our old house to the new house.
