    Don't work 12's, but have when everyone bails and I'm the one getting screwed over, but during the busy season I'm nonstop (most days). As much as I dislike dealing with people and nonstop bs, I can't stand the slow season and barely doing anything. I work best when I'm rushing around having to think on my feet. That's why I really miss my old recycling job sometimes. No customers and if you weren't on top of your shit and running around doing what had to be done as fast as possible, you either got ran over or overrun with stuff that wasn't getting sorted and moved fast enough. Same thing at HD but the variable is...the public.

    I actually like 12 hour shifts. I chose them over 6a-2p M-F because I like the extra days off. The 9a-9p thing may suck though. Oh well, when they post it I'll bid on it and go from there.

    Well.....I’ve got a zero turn now. I also have an old rider with a trac-vac that I use to get leaves up. Friend of mine had this for sale. Yada yada I brought it home and tried it out. Think I’m gonna buy it and sell all three of the ones I have and be even Steven, if it works out like I hope it does. This one is a lot smoother than mine. I figure one engine beats three to keep up.

    If it keeps your stress level down, it might be worth it. If I could work around fewer people I would, I’ve been told by H R that I don’t play well with others. Most people on my shift know who I am but I have no idea who they are, must be a reputation thing I guess. I find it hard to get through a full shift without going off on somebody.

    Two things that shouldn’t be tight. Valves (especially exhaust) and wheel bearings (tapered rollers y’all. Old school).
    Anyway, I’m a mechanic but I HATE grease. Met so many mofos that put half a can in each hub. WTF kid??
    The worst job that I loved to hate was repacking the knuckles on them old Land Crushers. Took like 2 cans per side but it’s really a service to humanity. In honor of ‘how to build a tough truck’.
    Rant over. :burp::hattip:

    You sound like an old geezer. Glad I'm so cheerful, upbeat and willing to lend an extra hand at work if someone is not interested in completing their assigned task!

    Ok. I’m catching up. Did we get pics from @Red Mud Ray or just a finger a’ la’ sharpie? Never trust lawyers.
