I know we have the shelter in place thing, but public land remains open per the blm website. Has anyone gone out off roading or is it too much of a headache to even try? I was thinking of going out near joshua tree.

In all seriousness, I think the general consensus is to use your best judgement and if you do decide to go out than to be respectful of everyones space and especially the areas/small towns surrounding these places. They don't have very many (if any) resources as far as hospitals go. I really want to go out and enjoy the land but I would have to be sure I wasn't going to be putting others at risk...

If you go out, don't stop for gas while your in small towns, don't stop for snacks, and don't be surprised if you get stopped and ticketed by local LE.

I think your main concern should be catching the virus or spreading the virus. Just because you don’t have symptoms doesn’t mean you don’t have or you’re not spreading it. Do society a favor and stay home.

But seriously, if you do go out just be smart. Take fuel/supplies to be self sufficient, don’t make stops to just dick around, don’t take your truck in places where you might be forced to call for help. Go catch some fish, take a hike, whatever you do for fun outdoors, just take a little more time to think of what could possibly go wrong first.

Well, I went to Pismo dunes just before they called it a pandemic. Now I have been hunting for deals. Lots of people's selling there shit. I picked this up a few weeks ago, 2275cc motor, fully built transmission and alot of other mods. Cant wait to get out and go to Glamas with it. So I guess I am going out, but real careful. I wear gloves and mask if I go into any stores or get fuel.

Ya BLM wide open, when shooting, camping and all that for a much needed get away. BLM is the last frontier. Hit up my BLM contact and checked their website. Only saw a few like minded folks. Do it.

Ok don't believe me. I'm not a YouTuber or Instagram model. Just trying to help a brother out.
