need ideas for debadging

Just used 2coats of Valspar Truck & Trailer paint

No need to sand, one coat of adhesion promoter and paint will stick fine, thats how I did mine & no problems.

 

i used some goo gone and a plastic spatula u put the goo gone on and scrap them right off works like charm no scratch or anything

 

i think im going to use hair drier and fishing line. bout how long yall think it should take me2 do it?

Blacked out my badges and tail lights. What do yall think.....

 

did you do the 3rd brake light too? looks like it

 

yea i did it pretty dark to lol but you can still see light when it is day and wat not

 

it looks good. i have a pretty similar truck to yours and was thinking about tinting or painting the tail lights and 3rd brake light too, along with the headlights. i'm just not sure i'd like it. good luck with the cops too. if you run into a cop that goes strictly by the books and is having a bad day, he might write you up for that brake light.

 

if you tint your tails use the vth or w/e it is called night shade. I put 3.5 coats with 5 or 6 coats of clear on them. if i were you i would do 2 then you would be good. i wanta do my heads but i need some help cuz i dont think i can do it my self. i plan on getting fender flares pocket style. What are yalls thought about keeping them black or should i paint match them white?
