Hi everyone, new to posting here, but I have a question for you all.
So I was driving the other day and my left side windshield molding came loose and popped up. Is there anyway to get it back down and for it to stay down? I've only tried to put it back in by hand, so far. Is there a way to get it back in place? Or do I have to take the windshield off to replace it? I read somewhere that it doesn't really serve a purpose, but it is ugly and annoying as it is now.
I've googled everywhere and can't find an answer. Any help is appreciated!

Just stop into a glass shop and ask them for advice. Hell they may even do it for free.

If nothing else neatly apply a small amount of silicon adhesive to hold it. But personally I would go to a glass shop.
