    Not much info on this especially on YouTube.

    I have the Onx6 30" Lightbar. Went with their harness but want to dump their switches and put it into a factory style switch. I found only one post on this topic. Has anyone successfully wired this up and care to share their tips to which wires on the switch, splice with the harness?

    I literally just finished wiring up my 40” OnX6. The provided harness comes with two switches, one for on/off, one for dimming.

    The on/off switch in their harness has three wires: red, yellow, black. If you replace the switch with a more factory looking one (I did a CH4x4 push switch) it’s easy to wire up. On the diagram below:
    -Switch green -> harness red
    -Switch red 1 -> harness yellow
    -Switch black -> harness black
    -Switch red 2 -> whatever power source you want to use for switch illumination.

    Do you plan to use the dimming switch?

    I do not. Figured when it's time for light, I want there to be LIGHT!

    What did you do for the switch light when your lights are on?

    I haven’t wired it up yet. Red 2 is taped off with electrical tape at the moment. I’ll plan to use an add-a-fuse and tap into the fuse box, but I don’t know which fuse to tap into in order to get it to illuminate with the side marker / head unit dimming / fog light.

    The top left one in this diagram? What exactly does that fuse apply to?

    Yes, that one.

    I think interior dash lights. It only illuminates when you turn on your parking lights and your other dash panel lights turn on and your radio back light dims, and turns off when you turn your parking lights off

    I got my bar wired up today per your notes above. Curious to know what the green wire is for on the BD harness? Is that for the dimmer option? Hoping that the way listed above is the brightest setting...

    The green wire on the OnX6 harness is needed to use the dimming feature. If you don’t have it hooked up then my understanding is that the lightbar is operating at 100% power. Bridging the circuit with the green wire triggers the dimming. I’m going to directly copy part of my conversation with @Baja Designs.

    The second switch for dimming, all you need to do is bridge two wires. Doesn't matter the orientation. One wire from the harness [green] will be hooked to green [on the switch] and the other to red 1. Once you hook those wires up, the switch will be able to bridge the circuit and turn on the dim feature.

    I didn’t bother when I went through it. Came to my senses.
