I dig this! This is my unspoken life motto! Thank you for posting! That said, I found a smokin' deal on a 2016 TRD OR 3.5L MT with 70k miles for $22.3k... and jumped on it. For less than this salvage title, I have a truck that will pull some return, should I ever decide to part with it.

Thank you for not lowering the average IQ of us Tacoma owners.

Give me the vin and I'll give more info on it. Somethings not right. Look like the "before" photos is not the actual damage. I don't mind salvage but this particular one doesn't looks good.

Hellllll no. Looks like some shoddy workmanship to me. The front grill surround is misaligned with the hood, panels are left unpainted, the radiator support crossmember is all dinged up meaning it was never replaced, fasteners are missing in the engine bay, I could go on... It's one thing to buy a salvage vehicle from a reputable shop that fixes it up right but that thing has nope written all over it. Heck, even in a vehicle repaired by a good shop there could still be some underlying damage that went undetected not to mention you're gonna have a hard time if you ever want to sell it since most people steer clear of salvage title vehicles.

I'd hold out for a new Tacoma at 50% off. It's coming.

When you see yourself drifting towards a bad decision, immediately look, and slip away

Edit: In all seriousness I was looking at a 2and gen in that sweet green it was awesome! Until I read salvage title and laughed my ass away from that shit show
