Outlet Diamondback Covers

Howdy Fellas,

Anyone have any experience buying from the “Outlet” section of Diamondback covers? Currently looking at buying one but wanted to see if it was worth the $500 savings.

Hey, I just ordered an HD from the outlet store. Mine said the weather seal was warped and that it may leak. I called them and asked for info to see if it was something that I’d be able to fix, and the rep said that that was just a disclaimer that they had to put. He said the one I got was on a truck that they had at the shop. It was warped because it had been used, but he didn’t think it would be an issue. He also assured me that if it did turn out to be an issue, I could replace the weather seals with the warranty. Pretty sweet.

 

Not sure if dimensions will work but I’m selling my new warranty replaced cover.

Hey man, so I had some issues. They apparently posted the wrong tonneau cover on the site. They asked me if I wanted the one that they had meant to post, (which was in much worse condition. Had stains, there is a gap where the gutter meets the panel that causes leaking. Some scratches on the handles that are used to open) I accepted it.
I received it and it looks new, aside from the scratches on the handles.
I had to use some weatherstrip and silicone to stop the leaks. It was process to try to fix that but it seems pretty leakproof now.

 

Well, it still looks great man. Do you think it was worth the savings?

 

Definitely! Saved $600 . They have lifetime warranty for just about every part, so yeah. Totally satisfied

 

I got an SE a couple years ago. You can't tell the defects in finishing. Mine didn't say any other damage or may leak.

I watched the outlet store daily for a couple months waiting for one. Well worth the savings. Plus their customer service is top notch.
