    did anyone ever put in there tacoma truck bed a lincoln SA200? they weight about 1200 lbs, just wondering if it would hold the weight , thanks

    Toss a 3/4” sheet of plywood in the bed first to put it on. Should be ok, but you’ll pretty much be at the payload capacity of the truck.

    Not a SA200 specificity. I have put a lot a weight in the bed. Spread it out. If there are pressure points (e.g., 4 legs/wheels) lay down a sheet of 3/4 plywood.

    Payload weight for your truck is stated on the driver door pillar. Mine is 1000 which includes the driver, so my bed weight is 810 unless I have a passenger. Then it’ll be less. :)

    Although I would never advocate loading a vehicle in excess of its approved ratings, if you were to calculate it this would probably be about ~2k lbs.

    (As others have said, I keep a piece of thick plywood on top of a rubber bed mat all the time. Helps redistribute the load. For really heavy loads, a pallet turned correctly helps to spread the load to the frame rails)
