Store bought Pork rinds are pretty darn tasty. I don't like the ones made fresh at a hog killin. I tried some in Louisiana made fresh, I didn't care for them at all.

World's best joke for all you hunters...

A 911 operator gets a frantic cell phone call...
Hunter: "You've gotta help me! My buddy and I were out hunting when he collapsed! I think he's dead!"
Operator: "Okay sir. Stay calm. I can help you. Now first thing we want to do is make sure your friend is really dead"
    Operator hears a gun shot
    Hunter: "Okay, now what?"

    Morning Whateveranians!!

    Random story....

This goes back to 1985, first week of archery season. Buddy and I had left our stands up from the first day. So we walk the mile up the ridge and travel along the ridge line to our spots. Mine is the first, buddy's is about 100 yards down further. I get to my stand and see that someone has taken it down and left it on the ground. Steps, stand...all on the ground. WTF.... Now this is before headlamps are a thing. So I'm holding my flashlight with my teeth, no safety harness, arms and legs wrapped around the tree, looking like a monkey trying to fuck a football, trying to get this stand up, in the dark. I hear a noise, like wings or something, and BAM, this thing lands right in front of my face, like 8" away. The scream that emanated from my mouth sounded like Marv when Kevin placed the tarantula on his face in "Home Alone". Was a damn flying squirrel!! After I gathered myself, checked my underwear, I did manage to get the stand set. Met up with my buddy at lunch. He asked if I heard that scream before light. Said it sounded like a teenage girl in a haunted house... Nah, I didn't hear anything.
