I never called anyone a snowflake.

dude we’ve been here before. You white knight with the best of em...last time you did this, everyone became friends. Except you. Because you’re emotional. You need to let go of people talking about material things, or just not internet.

You are so delusional on your quest, you look for “bullies” where there are none. Fuck that truck. I said that. Doesn’t make me or anyone else a Bully.

The snowflake comment is “A general note”....meaning generally speaking, not that you did that, others do.

I’m not taking sides everybody has an opinion. In these pitiful times o jyst try to keep what I can positive. Go out and wash your truck, have a coffee, pet the dog something. I’m confused on what happened in this thread. We admire, praise, dislike and shit on people’s builds all the time. Why is everyone so sensitive about this truck, it’s nothing anymore unique than any other build on this forum.

    It’s expensively average..

Honestly it does the pictures make it look ok but it’s half weeds and a bunch of bare spots. I put some old composted cow shit on the garden 15 years ago and the weeds jyst took off.

I agree with this partially. Investment wise most vehicles are not a good one. A classic car or something ok. I look at it more though as an investment in happiness and if it makes a person smile isn’t that worth something. :notsure:

Dude! That logo is going to be upside down and backwards when you install it back on the truck... what were you thinking?

You should paint "IDGAF" on the bottom.

I guess so. But what if the investment is just to make other people turn there head and look?
I dont think that's an investment or a sure smile? That's just "fill in blank here" I think

It's always interesting when people discuss ROI, appreciating and depreciating assets. etc. ROI can really be tied into anything whether it's monetary, emotional, feelings, etc. There are very few appreciating assets and ROI really should be considered against earned value. We see people mentioning ROI and appreciation with home ownership. However most people view it superficially based on the equity in the home, not realizing a lot of that equity is built from the land value.

If we look into earned value, you really need to subtract the equity from your home from the amount of interest paid to the bank, if it's negative then that was poor ROI; even an "appreciating" asset can be a poor investment.

It really just boils down to what makes us happy and how much money we need for retirement..
