Hey guys! Currently in good 'ol Panhandle of Florida, here in the next month going to be moving up to Bismark, ND for work with the FAA. Looking forward to a change of scenery and seeing what ND has to offer for wheeling. I have a 2006 Prerunner (she's sitting on 37s with a rear locker) and a 1980 Pickup 4x4 (locked front/rear, dual cases, etc), 'bout to also buy an 18ft hauler to drag my pickup up there.

Where's everyone else at? Trying to see where around Bismark some places are, debating whether on buying or renting at the moment.

You’ll want to head west. Theodore Roosevelt national park is worth checking out. I’d guess if there is any wheeling it’s over that direction. It’s been a while since I’ve been up there

I'll have to check it out. I figured because it's flat up there, there wasn't gonna be much other than national parks. I've heard theres some good stuff in SD. but I plan on building an overland trailer for my little truck, so i wanna get more into that stuff. Moab is a hell of a lot closer up there than it is from where I'm currently at. 13ish hours vs almost 30 lol

Yeah there’s some decent stuff once you get to the western third. Everything else is totally flat and open for the most part. Tons of stuff in Montana and Wyoming

should be plenty of winter wheeling up north there!
    lots of wind too

I have never personally seen what the MO river looks like up north , its probably like a little creek as to what it looks like where I am at down river, cleaner water probably too lol
looking into plans to take U.S. route 2 all the way to the Seattle area one of these days

that is one thing im kinda interested in doing lol, I've known nothing but sugar sand and bottomless mud pits lmao. I'm honestly down for traveling several hours for any good wheeling, even if it's for a weekend deal

You are assuming it won’t be extended. You planning on going to Canada?

You're fairly close to Badlands, Black Hills, and Bighorn. Lots of fun to be had there.
