I'm currently looking at options for future roof rack. No plans on getting one now as I wouldn't really use it enough to warrant having it up there. Just trying to do some research and I came across this company called DV8 Offroad. They are from California and primarily geared towards the jeep aftermarket...market.

I saw a thread about their roof rack and some folks said they were crap.
I also noticed that on their skid plate it looks like part of the description was copy/pasted from their slider description. Lol.

Why even consider them if you are already having your doubts about them? Too many companies out there producing similar products for you to be looking to others to justify your choice. When I think of roof racks and tacoma I instantly think of victory, prinsu, and uptop. Those three have so many people who have purchased from them on this forum. I've heard of DV8. I saw a spare tire carrier on a jeep today by them actually. But I just don't have an opinion on them because they are that big on this forum.

I absolutely love the Uptop alpha. When it's time, Im 99% positive that's who will be eating my money.

Don’t do it. I just purchased a DV8 roof rack for my 2018 Tacoma and have spent the last two days trying to isolate rattling above 70 mph. The roof rack was installed at 4WP and they have gone through it twice with no luck. I think I have it isolated down to cross member 4 that sits closest to the roof itself but I need a few more test drives to verify. In any case I’m hoping DV8 will make this right. My advise go Prinsu!

I just installed one of these. Seem pretty good to me. It came with all the correct hardware and installation didn’t take too long. 92C62EB8-7EF8-45FA-A26E-8FC18CC89A60.jpg

Looks great! I could not get the rattling to stop with my install. It was caused by the rear cross member near the shark fin. After a week of emailing photos to DV8 and two more tries with 4WP reworking the install I returned my rack and went with a Prinsu.
