@OVTune I have the original flash kit with purple dongle. I ordered the vfTune Order #6214 and opted to keep my dongle so I can still use all of the tune files I have saved if needed/wanted. I asked before, but is there any chance you could include a tune library for my ECU 04B13 with my vfTune purchase so I still have those files available for use and or tweeking in vfTune?

our payment processor can automatically filter based on name, email, previous order history, etc.

Seems there are a few folks who may of genuinely ordered by accident, or people trying to sneak their orders in...lol.

Anyways Rafael and I are knocking out the def packages right now.

I'm still sorting out all the details on how this will be done and distributed.
Right now let me get everyone switched to p5F, and we can move forward from that point.

Happy to hear the reports on 2.0. Keep them coming! I'd like to wrap up the last bit of features and release it out to all ECUs.
Please remember those files are the base, most 'watered" down version so that we can get you guys testing out the transmission parameters and such.
Happy to hear everything so far.

Note, if you are using stock size tires (even if they are 31'' stockers) please use the file that is NOT 31-33. I use the median value, 32. So it will be off on stock tires.

Also. If you are a NEW customer never before having a flash kit, we will release vF Tuner support for the tacoma very very soon.

Around 150mi on the 87 base tune. Everything seems great so far. My only complaint is that the throttle seems slightly more dulled down versus the 1.05 87 base tune I was running previously.

also, I have an odd combination of 33” tires and 4.30 gears. It works out to nearly the same ratio as a stock truck, so that’s why I went with the base tune instead of the 31-33 tune.

A lot may not be over 100 miles on the test file, so haven't posted yet, myself included.

Mat, we really need to understand why the truck runs in Direct injection mode only.
What you said about it yesterday does not correlate with the data I see.
    Thanks

You're an exception! But with the amount of people complaining after tune releases in the past makes feel god about this one!

This truck on stock runs in direct injection mode most of the time when ECT temp is above...80* C. Outside of idle and low rpm.

Check sitting at hot idle. you should still see some port injection activity.
Also check high load, under 2500 rpm, you will see some port injection activity.

And then cold starts, ECT under 50-75*F you will see port injection activity upon initial start and after initial catalyst warming when engine load is less than 35%
and when ECT is cold, engine speed up to 4400 RPM will have port injection activity 35% or less load.
You should see much more port injection activity when engine temps are between 65 and 75 * F.

RPM 800 to 2800 RPM engine load 80+ engine cold port injection activity will be available.

I have NOT disabled port injection. I have only modified when it is used.

Injection cleaning cycles are still OEM, as well.

If the engine is fully up to temp driving it is going to use direct injection.

Datalog it on a cold start. Engine fully cold.

to answer the upcoming questions. Why did we modify the injection split parameters?

a few reason, that I have personally tested on my truck.
When the ECU is using primarily Direct injection, target AFR is much more precise. There is less Fuel swings for stoic and the ECU can keep near stoic target much better than during split activation.

Less fuel is also used during this time.

Excellent, thanks. You could distribute like you have in the past with test tunes and a hidden link on your website that you would email to us.

Look, I'm scrolling via my previous data logs since 1.05 and I never seen engine in Direct mode for more than 1 min.

Okay, then when vF Tuner releases you are welcome to tune the injection however you like.
I am telling you exactly how I setup the tables.

I've explained exactly why I've done it.
Including using external wideband controllers on each bank to the ECU, to get true AFR readings. Not the stock, limited wide ratio front sensors.

Are these changes in the MT 2.0 files? A couple people have noticed faster warm up times so sounds like it may be or a variation anyway.

Just curious mostly. I’m perfectly content until vf is released. Truck has been running great on 2.0
