Roof rack on a SnugTop canopy?

2014 Tacoma 2.7L MT ACLB

Hey folks, I have a SnugTop Hiliner canopy on my 2014 Taco access cab (4 inline manual trans). I love it but I’m looking to put a rack on top of the canopy. I saw some folks say if I drill and install the rack myself it’ll void the SnugTop warranty. I called the place I bought the canopy from and they sell and install Rhino Racks. Any thoughts or opinions on them? I don’t know anything about them. Thanks
