Anybody have problems with Anti-lock brakes after increasing tire diameter from stock? Stock, mine came with 245/75/16 and I'm looking to go up to 265/75/16. I know it's only about 1" taller of a tire but still thought I'd ask.

Abs monitors hub rotation, so it doesn't care about total diameter.

But doesn't changing the wheel diameter affect the speed sensor for the ABS just the same as changing the diameter affects your speedometer? I believe all that would really happen is the ABS would engage either premature or "x" amount of time late because the ABS sensor "understands" factory size wheels. If I'm wrong or missing something please correct me, just want to be diligent.

If you change all tires to same size then no problem. ABS and VSC don't care about RPM of tires. The sensors are looking for a delta in rotational speed. Nothing really cares about speed except the speedometer. Even the radar braking is not concerned about speed but about closure rate, meaning a car ahead could be going 30mph and if you are going 100mph it does not care, only that the closure rate is X. That would be equivalent to 70 mph closing on a parked car. So if you are having problems look at sensor or sensor wire.

Yes this was an issue on some 2nd gens and for some people the abs/vsc seemed more sensitive especially at slow speeds. The vsc can be recalibrated when you have bigger tires on if its an issue
