Stay stock or get something itchy?

What should I do?

  1. Just replace my tires with 245/75/16 michelin defender ltx m/s

    34.2%
  2. 5100 / ome springs, methods, 265/70/16 coopers

    65.8%

So I’m in between decisions! When my stock tires are done should I buy stock size Michelin defenders and keep my stock steelies? This would be the most cost effective.

or should I go all out and get cooper at3, methods, billy 5100, ome springs and 3aal system?

the difference is about $2k and I have a few concerns about modding. My first concern is I would hate to get any type of vibration in my truck (I’m 2wd) . Also I’m not sure how bad 265/75/16 is gonna effect the little power I get from my 2.7 4cyl. All the mods are indeed going to be used at my local mall ofcorse.

I’d like to justify the more expensive setup due to my daily 1 mile fire road drive into work but I’ve been fine with the stock street tires lol

Keep the stock rims get the suspension/tires you want and take the rim money for sliders or a skid plate.

Stay stock and get some nice A/T tyres when the ones you got are no longer useful. Only do cosmetic stuff like window tint and whatnot, bed mat, etc. It's what I wish I had done.

Dooooo eeeet!!! If it helps, I switched from the original donut tire size, and went to 265/75/16. Power with my 2.7L regular cab didn’t take too much of a hit. My gas mileage on the other hand went down about 3 or so MPG. I just placed the order for the first piece of my suspension upgrade. And for what it’s worth, I was just going to replace my stock suspension until I joined TW a couple weeks ago. Yeah....it happens that fast. You were warned.

Well I’m definitely leaning more towards stock. Money isn’t an issue it’s just the reliability factor that’s pushing me to keep it the way it is. So far some awesome responses
