So my truck was having issues idling, and I was getting a low idle since Death valley, then yesterday my engine just wanted to stop running when I stopped, then I found why after saying fuck it if I keep it in 4 low it will idle high enough to not die. When Airing up I found this, and so now time to clean and replace.

You haven't plumbed your ARB to your intake? Easiest way to add boost to your engine. Hook up a NOS style button and press it when you need the extra 100HP.

Ended up doing some stuff since we are on Q. I got around to replacing the body mounts, added some hood struts and my battery died so I got rid of the yellow top and went for the red. I also replaced the bearings on the swing out because I was getting play in the swing out. luckily it was the bearings, the new ones are super snug and got rid of the excessive play. i sprayed the spindle down with some rust remover and that cleaned it up nice. To then coat it in anti-seize. Hopefully that prevents some rust and keeps the bearings from seizing. One of em was a biatch to remove. Looks like this is going to be a bi annual chore.

How do the body mounts feel? Make any difference? I’ve thought about doing mine too

Yeah I hear you. I was thinking, new body mount, trans mount and engine mounts might be good! Probably tighten it all up.

In my experience, they do a good job of keeping the cab in place and don't allow too much flex. They do seem to translate a bit more of the road feel into the cab though imo.

I'll be curious if @Prayn4surf notices a difference over time. You went with the Energy Suspension ones right?

Yeah I went with the energy ones. I didnt notice more road feel in the cab. Everything felt slightly smoother, but super hard to tell if there is a real difference.

Right on. That's def how I would describe it.
If I were to do it again, I would do rubber to try and keep the ride less rough in the cab.

Curious about your rock lights. How do you have them wired up? Was it a kit?

I just did it myself. Got some 18g wire and ran them in line and plugged it into my switchpro. It was super easy, just kinda time consuming. I used quick disconnects incase i needed to switch em out. So pretty much I placed em and then ran one wire around the truck.

The switch pro takes all thinking out of wiring. Connect the positive wire to the positive bus, and the negative to the negative. No relays, no fuses.

    Gotcha. Thanks for explaining.
Didn't think about doing it with just one wire like that. That would definitely make it easier.
Definitely jealous of your switch pro haha. Makes powering everything and connecting stuff so much easier.

It was worth the extra money to simplify everything. Yeah just run a wire and splice each one into it with a tsplice

You got a link to this switch pro? I need to re do my wiring. I have a bus box and blue sea fuse box but I really don’t want to do all that work.

At some point i'll hopefully get one!
It's quite a bit more pricey than a handful of Carling switches though :D
