To start off, I have an 07 Double cab. Everything was running fine and doing well.

However, I've suddenly started hearing an unusual sound coming from the front right of my truck at low RPM. It only makes noise when I'm around 1k and then goes away... Not sure what it could be so, any ideas? Sounds like a loose rod or something but I can't find the source...

That and the heat shields tend to vibrate to the point where they'll cut a hole around the mounting nut. I used 1" fender washers to sandwich the heat shield (s) to the mounting hardware.

I had a similar rattle, was a rusted out hose clamp on the exhaust. Pulled it off and no more noise.
