P0333, lousy fuel trims, and other things.

    So, I've been dealing with the above mentioned code, lousy fuel trims, and flat/ no acceleration in response to the gas pedal. It would eventually downshift if I pushed on the gas hard enough.

    The fuel trims did not once go negative and went as high as 15%. Now it's under 5% and does jump into the negative numbers

    It also shuddered occasionally when accelerating, but no codes other than the P0333. That was intermittent as well. It almost seemed like it was starving for gas.

    What I eventually found was the connector for the knock sensor harness was loose at the back of the engine... :facepalm:

    :smack: to the mechanic for breaking the locking tab when the motor was swapped out...

    :smack: to me for not noticing it sooner and living with these issues for as long as I did.

    But, alls well that ends well. Haven't had the code pop back up in almost a 100 miles, I can see that my milage has gone up already, and...I can roll on the throttle again!
