ProooAuto.com?? Anyone order from here

I ordered a TRD Pro grill from here and seen someone had ordered a while back but I haven’t recieved any updates that it’s been shipped or anything. I just ordered it Sunday but still just looking for a little peace of mind I guess lol.

 

Just got mine yesterday think it took a week for them to ship it out

 

It took them 6 days to ship took about a week to get from California to massachusetts

 

Awesome! You mind posting a picture of it? Does the quality seem to be good?

 

Quality was okay just about as good as any aftermarket installing the letters could’ve been easier cause the screws are so damn small and my hands aren’t too steady but a magnetic screwdriver helps. Fit in pretty well and the aftermarket garnish they supplied hasn’t gave me a tss issue yet

Is the tss the cruise control? My wife has a 19 Camry XSE it has that radar thing for cruise control. Is that what that’s for? I have a SR5 so I don’t guess I need that do I?

 

Yeah, that looks so much better than stock grill! I was just hoping to not worry so much about it because I couldn’t find any reviews or anything online about them.

 

Yes that’s tss and if you don’t have it in the vehicle it won’t be necessary

Ordered a Grille Sunday and it is shipping out today(Tuesday) so $121.60 shipped.
Ill post pictures when I get it and install it.

 

I recieved my grille yesterday 8/3 so about a week shipping from CA to TN.

1.The letters attach with small screws through the back which is nice except the "Y" can only take 1 screw but has holes for 3 (they would just be in the letter not holding it to the grille).

2. I got the TSS garnish along with it and it was a little finicky to secure on the grille but I was able to. After a day I am still not seeing any warnings.

All in all I think it was a good deal at $121 shipped.

 

To comment on the garnish have had mine Since April 20th no issues yet FWIW

 

For those who have the grille, would you purchase through them again if you needed a new grille?

I ordered the TRD Pro grill, with TSS, and Raptor lights on April 4th, received it two days later. I live within 25 miles of them, so I was lucky. Just installed it today and it looks awesome!

I watched Taco Garage on YouTube, he compared the OEM grill to 3 aftermarket grills. The one that I received from ProooAuto was almost identical to the OEM, except it doesn't have a slightly glossier look. It's the matte finish that every other aftermarket grill has. I got the letters in OEM Silver, has the black background. Each letter is cutout and mounted with screws, they can only go in one way which is nice because it keep the letters straight and aligned. Even the O's are not interchangeable. No double-sided stick tape that another reviewer showed on YouTube from 2 years ago. The only thing that I noticed was that 2 of the holes had plastic slightly covering the holes. I just took my Philips screwdriver and pushed it through to open the hole, super easy it took less than 2 seconds.


All of the areas that are covered with plastic DO have ridges like the OEM grill.

Wiring for the Raptor lights are great, comes with the add-a-fuse (with a 5a and 10a fuse already installed. They come with mini fuses, not micro fuses that are used in our 3rd Tacoma fuse boxes. Luckily, I have a lot of extra mini fuses lying around, so I replaced the 5a fuse with a 10a just to be safe. The 10a micro fuse for the low beam, I just set aside for backup.

Fitment is nearly perfect, no complaints. I'm really happy with my purchase! I just wanted to update anyone who remains skeptic about this company. I'll be posting pics very soon.

 

Yes, the TSS is for cruise control and lane departure warning. Available on 2018+ models.
