    Hello all,

I’ve been outside looking in to Tacoma world for some time now and finally had a question I couldn’t answer searching through here.

I purchased my truck with a lift with a 3” block already installed. I do some off-roading and have a some added constant weight in the rear with a decked system and topper, as well as towing a smittybilt scout trailer for camping.

I’m contemplating removing the block and replacing the old leaf springs with the Old Man Emu Dakar heavy load leaf springs, but some sites say these will lift 2.75” and some say 2”. I’d like to have the samish ride height in the rear when I remove the blocks. Does anyone know how much these springs actually lift the rear end? Or if I’ll need a 1” block with them in order to get back to the old height?

    Thanks for your help
